The United Latinx Fund (ULF) takes pride in its role as a philanthropic innovator and thought leader. Through ULF’s recent strategic planning and rebranding processes, the need for philanthropy to be more inclusive emerged particularly among our young Latinx leaders and movement makers. ULF responded by updating its brand to include Latinx as a conscious affirmation of the nuanced structural changes and intersectional identities within our community.
The diversity of the Latinx community is intimately tied to our intersectional identities. Afro Latinx, Queer Latinx, Trans Latinx, etc. are a few of the many identities that comprise our experience. For ULF, updating our brand to include Latinx is not just following a trend or buzz...it represents our commitment to authentic and inclusive change.
