Andrés C. Lara

In memory of Andrés C. Lara, father of Teresa and Sandra Lara. Born in San Luis Potosi, México, Andrés, Chencho, aka “El Tiburon”, was a hopeless romantic with the hands of steel, and wit of comedic genius. He enjoyed playing the harmonica, writing poems, tending his vegetable gardens and trees, and hanging out with his Chihuhuas, Killer and Barbitas. His prized possession, his teal blue ’57 Chevy truck, named El Tiburon/I’m Jaws could be seen cruising around San José, CA on Sunday afternoons. His five sisters, Margarita, Amparo, Pilar, Jackie, and Carmen reside in West Covina and Diamond Bar, CA.
